Meet the Team

Dr Cassia Hodgson (Dentist)

Dr Cassia Hodgson graduated from James Cook University in Cairns with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2021. She was recognised for her academic achievement and dedication to periodontal health, receiving the Australian Society of Periodontology Queensland (ASPQ) Medallion.

Born in the Northern Territory, Cassia spent her early years in Alice Springs before moving to Darwin. She has worked in Alice Springs, Darwin, and surrounding remote communities, strengthening her passion for providing quality dental care to underserved populations.

Cassia was inspired to pursue dentistry after seeing the wide variety of skills and treatments involved during a school-based dental visit. She has had a longstanding interest in healthcare, and is particularly passionate about improving access to dental services for people living in regional and remote communities.

Cassia has a warm and caring approach, and enjoys helping patients feel comfortable and confident throughout their dental journey. Outside the clinic, she loves cooking and baking, often spending her free time creating new recipes and sharing meals with family and friends.

Alex (Dental Nurse)

We are extremely excited to have Alex come on board. Alex has been dental assisting since 2010. She brings her absolute wealth of experience to the practice.

She spent most of her childhood living in NSW before returning back to the Mid North in SA.

She enjoys playing netball for North Clare Netball Club, adventuring, spending quality time with friends and family, and doing DIY jobs.

Lucy (Dental Nurse)

Lucy began Dental Assisting in 2021 through a school-based traineeship in Year 11, where she completed her Certificate III. Originally from the Mid North, she has also lived in the Barossa and Murraylands regions.

Outside of work, Lucy enjoys visiting family in the Riverland, playing and coaching Netball for the RSMU Netball Club, and spending time with friends.

She is also a lover of downtime at home, colouring in on the couch with a comfort show and her dog beside her!

Grace (Dental Nurse / Receptionist)

Grace has grown up in rural and remote Australia, completing some of her schooling via School of the Air. Grace has lived in Clare since 2011 with her husband and children.

Her positive attitude and calm presence helps put even the most anxious patients at ease. Grace is a team player who’s always ready to brighten someone’s day.

Grace loves a good road trip, trying a new hobby, or finding unexpected adventures in everyday life. She also enjoys making colourful mosaics in her downtime.
